Collection of memories transcending the boundaries
Experience places and culture through Shiv’s lens—where the journey unfolds beyond maps and monuments. His photography seeks the soul of a place in quiet corners, local gestures, and textures of everyday life. He walks the off-beaten path not to escape, but to listen—transcending borders to capture moments that feel timeless, rooted, and yet spontaneous.

For me, traveling has never been about following the beaten path. Even in my adult years, I’ve struggled to travel in groups—not out of preference, but because my curiosity keeps pulling me toward the stories that hide behind the obvious. I’ve always wanted to learn the history, the culture, and the people in ways that require wandering off on my own, into places where tourists rarely venture.
An old piano with broken keys, where someone once played for the woman he loved. Empty ink bottles and work journals resting quietly in Mark Twain’s home. A window where moss grows with unrestrained freedom. Alleys paved by a thousand years of human footsteps. An empty room that once held the warmth of a poet’s library. These are the spaces that call to me—the overlooked corners where time lingers.
"Where in the distant yonder
Does this mind of mine wander
In tune with the flute that rings
With the wailing of the winds"
Rabindranath Tagore
Through my lens, I try to capture the nostalgia that clings to abandoned rooms, the murmur of history between old walls, the breeze that sings ancient songs along narrow alleys—my deepest appreciation for what remains and what’s gone.
